What Is PTI
The Political Temperature Index (PTI) is a non-partisan, data-driven daily measurement of US political tension on a 0–100 scale. It aggregates 149 unique sources — spanning news coverage, social media discourse, congressional voting patterns, court opinions, and regulatory activity — and applies AI-powered sentiment analysis to produce an objective composite score. With 870+ historically validated events and three daily updates, PTI offers a transparent, reproducible signal for the intensity of the US political climate.
